Considered one of the great achievements of the 20th century, the Panama Canal connects 160 countries and 1,700 ports around the world. Celebrate your Panama Canal daylight transit with onboard festivities as we make the 48-mile journey through this historic Canal. You will enjoy onboard narration describing both the history of the Canal and its day-to-day working as you and your yacht are raised and lowered 85 feet through the three sets of locks. Numerous observation points on the ship will allow you to have the best view, either indoors in the Yacht Club at the front of the ship with cool air conditioning or outside on the deck in the warmth and sunshine. The deck will be the place to be with festive music provided by onboard musicians, local beverages, and a mobile bar for drink service. As you continue through the Canal the Captain will ask you to join him in a toast to your bucket list crossing of the Panama Canal. Return to your stateroom to find your "Order of the Ditch" certificate, a Naval tradition verifying your place in the exclusive group of "sailors" who have passed through the Panama Canal.
